The DePauw Colony of Sigma Lambda Gamma was established on DePauw University in 2008 by three women. After much hard work and 21 women later, the women of DePauw Colony earned chapter status on June 13, 2012 - Gamma Epsilon Chapter.

Today, the Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma has nationally been recognized as an Entity of Excellence, active participants in Relay for Life, and represent over 8 different ethnic backgrounds.
